Available Franchise Territies

Carver Gate Repair is building out market by market, and right now we’ve got open territory in some of the best gate-repair markets in the country. Each territory is protected. You own it. No other Carver operator comes into your zip codes. That’s first-mover advantage you can actually use, not just talk about.

Open Markets

These states currently have protected territory available for qualified owner-operators:

  • Texas – booming suburban growth around Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio means more gated communities and more service calls every year
  • Florida – the retirement and second-home markets keep gate density high from the Panhandle down to the Keys
  • California – established gate culture in every metro, with aging systems now hitting the 15-20 year replacement cycle
  • Georgia – Atlanta’s sprawl and the coastal second-home belt both run heavy on automatic gates
  • North Carolina – Raleigh-Durham and Charlotte growth corridors are adding gated subdivisions faster than national averages
  • Arizona – heat and dust punish gate motors; the repair cycle runs shorter here, which means repeat business
  • Tennessee – Nashville’s expansion and Memphis’s established stock both need reliable gate service
  • Ohio – Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati have solid existing gate populations with limited dedicated service
  • Pennsylvania – Philadelphia suburbs and Pittsburgh’s residential hills both favor automatic entry systems
  • Colorado – Denver’s front range growth and mountain second-home gates create a two-tier market
  • Washington – Seattle-Tacoma’s tech wealth supports high-end gate installations needing ongoing service
  • Virginia – Northern Virginia’s government-contractor neighborhoods and Richmond’s historic districts both run gates

How Territories Work

A protected territory means exactly that: protected. When you sign on as a Carver Gate Repair owner-operator, you get exclusive rights to your defined market area. No other Carver location advertises in your territory, bids your jobs, or services your customers. The boundaries are drawn in your franchise agreement, clear as a property line.

Territories are reserved in sequence. First qualified applicant to put down a territory hold gets first right of refusal for that market. We don’t auction them or create bidding wars. We also don’t subdivide a territory once it’s claimed. If you want Dallas County, and someone else already holds it, you pick adjacent open territory or you wait. That’s how we keep the promise clean between operators.

Each territory is sized to support a full-time owner-operator with room to grow into a multi-truck operation. The math is straightforward: we look at household count, gate density, average home value, and existing competition that actually shows up and finishes the job. Markets with lots of cheap fly-by-night operators are often better opportunities than they look, because homeowners there are hungry for someone who actually returns calls and honors a guarantee.

Reservation works in two steps. First, you submit a territory inquiry and we verify the market is still open. Second, you complete the qualification process and place your territory hold. Once that hold is in, the territory comes off the open market and we work with you on launch timing. Most owners are operational within 60 to 90 days of territory reservation.

What You Get as a Carver Owner

Carver is the gate repair company of the Garrison Partners family. We’ve been at this since 2008. Every location works to The Garrison Standard, but each one is independently owned and operated. You’re not buying a job. You’re building a local business with a national playbook behind you.

The Garrison Code is what we actually do, not what we frame on a wall. Show up inside the window we gave. Price in writing before any work starts. Do it by the book, the first time. Leave the site clean and squared away. Stand behind the work for a full year. That’s the standard every Carver owner agrees to, and it’s what lets us charge fair prices instead of racing to the bottom.

Your technicians show up background-checked and uniformed. Your phones get answered by a live person, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. No voicemail boxes, no call-back queues, no “we’ll get to you Monday.” Homeowners notice. They remember. They call back.

Every repair carries our 365-Day Done Right Promise in writing. If it’s not done right, we make it right. The guarantee is printed on every invoice. If the repair fails inside that year, we come back free of charge, no argument. That promise is why customers pay our rates and stay with us.

We work on nine gate-motor brands: LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, and Mighty Mule. That covers what you’ll actually see in the field. No sending a customer elsewhere because you don’t stock the part or know the programming sequence.

The name Carver matters. It’s a craftsman’s surname. The right name for a crew that keeps a gate opening and closing right, every time. Gates that open and close every time. That’s the mission, and it’s specific enough that you know whether you hit it or you didn’t.
