Mention the offer when you book. One offer per household per visit; offers can’t be combined with each other and don’t apply to work already quoted or completed. Local pricing and availability vary by location – your local Carver Gate Repair team confirms the final price in writing before any work begins.
Every job is priced the same way: a free written estimate
We price the job, not the hour. Before anyone touches anything, you get the full price for the specific work in writing – no hourly meter, no membership to join, no financing to sign, and no line items added afterwards. If the number isn’t right for you, the estimate is still free and you owe us nothing.
How We Price Gate Repair Work
Every job at Carver Gate Repair is priced job by job, off a free written estimate. There is no hourly rate running in the background, no plan to join, nothing to sign up for. You get one number, in writing, before anyone picks up a tool.
That matters because the second thing most homeowners worry about – after the gate itself – is the invoice. You’ve probably heard stories about a repair that started at one number and landed somewhere else. We built our pricing around stopping that from happening. The written estimate is the price. It doesn’t grow once the job is open. If a technician finds something beyond the original scope, work stops, you get a new written number, and you decide before anything else happens.
No hourly rates. No subscriptions. No surprises at the door. Just a number confirmed in writing before any work begins.
What a Visit Actually Costs You to Find Out
Nothing. The estimate visit is free.
A Carver technician comes out, looks at the gate, the operator, the hardware – whatever the issue involves – and tells you exactly what needs to happen and what it will cost. You get that in writing before the appointment ends. Then you decide. If you want to move forward, we schedule the work. If you’re not ready, or you want a second opinion, you walk away with a clear picture of what you’re dealing with and no bill for the visit.
We’d rather earn the job on the merit of the estimate than pressure anyone into a repair they’re not sure about. That’s the only way this works long-term.
When People Usually Call Us
A few patterns come up again and again in this trade.
Storm season is a reliable one. Power outages knock operators offline, and even after the power comes back, the gate doesn’t always reset cleanly. Sometimes it’s the operator. Sometimes a surge got to the control board. Sometimes a branch came down and bent something. The call usually comes the morning after.
Heat does quiet damage. Hinges bind. Tracks warp just enough that the gate drags. Rollers that were fine all winter start grinding by July. The gate still moves – until it doesn’t.
Hard freeze cycles work the same way in reverse. Metal contracts, grease stiffens, and an operator that was working fine in October can wake up stuck in January.
HOA and community gates get called in before the holidays and before summer – both seasons when traffic through them roughly doubles and a stuck gate becomes everyone’s problem at once.
Residential calls often come after a car clipped the gate, or after a gate that’s been slow for months finally stops. Both are fair reasons to call. We don’t grade urgency.
What You Can Expect From Us Either Way
Whether there’s an offer in play or not, the same standards apply on every Carver job. These aren’t upsells – they come with the visit.
- Written price before any work starts. The number is confirmed in writing at the estimate. It doesn’t move.
- 365-Day Done Right Promise. Every repair is backed by a written guarantee for a full year from the date of service. If the repair fails inside that window, we come back and make it right at no charge – no argument, no second invoice.
- Background-checked, uniformed technicians. You know who we’re sending before they arrive. Every technician dispatched by Carver has passed a background check and shows up in uniform.
- Live person on the phone, around the clock. Calls are answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and holidays. No voicemail, no call-back queue.
- The Garrison Standard. Carver Gate Repair is part of the Garrison Partners family, and every location – independently owned as they are – operates to the same standard: arrive inside the window we gave, price in writing, do the job by the book, leave the site clean and squared away, stand behind the work for a full year.
These aren’t conditions attached to an offer. They’re the baseline.
Common Questions
Is the estimate really free?
Yes, the estimate visit is free. A technician comes to your property, assesses the gate and operator, and hands you a written price. You owe nothing for that visit. If you decide to move forward, great. If you don’t, you walk away with a clear diagnosis and no charge.
Do you offer financing or a monthly plan?
No, and that’s deliberate. We price each job off a free written estimate – one number, for one job, confirmed before any work starts. There are no financing products, no payment plans, no membership programs, and nothing to sign up for. If the price confirmed in writing is the price you agree to, that’s the end of the transaction.
Can I combine two offers?
One offer per household per service visit. The 10% first-visit discount applies to your first completed service visit with us, and it doesn’t stack with other offers. The written pricing and the 365-Day Done Right Promise aren’t promotions – they apply to every job as a matter of course.
Does the price change once you’re here?
No. The written estimate is the price. If a technician opens the gate and finds something beyond what the estimate covered, work stops at that point – you get a revised written price for the additional scope, and you approve it before anything else happens. The original estimate doesn’t grow without your say-so.
